FAQ

What is Microblading? Is it a tattoo?
No, Microblading is not a tattoo. Microblading is considered semi-permanent and tattoos are considered permanent. The process is not done with a tattoo gun and is done with a microblading blade. The blade is dipped into ink and then used to create hair-like strokes on the brows to give it a more natural appearance.

How long does Microblading lasts? Is it permanent?
Microblading is not permanent, it is semi-permanent. After your retouch procedure, your new eyebrows should slowly fade and last up to 2-3 years. Everyone's skin is different so everyone's brows will fade differently. When they become too light, it is time for your next microblading appointment.

How long does the procedure take?
The whole procedure should take anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours. It may vary depending on client's sensitivity or client's preferences. Click here to read about what to expect during your appointment. A retouch appointment usually takes about 1 hours.

Does it hurt?
Pain varies depending on client. Everyone has a different pain tolerance. Most people who have had microblading would report that they felt zero to little pain. Numbing cream (Lidocaine) is always applied to the eyebrows before the procedure. If you are worried about pain please take only Tylenol. (Do not take any medication that thins the blood) Click here to read about who should avoid microblading.

Will I still have eyebrow hairs after the service?
A lot of people think that getting a tattoo or microblading done means that we would have to remove all of the hair on the eyebrows but that is not the case. We keep all the hair that is in the desired shape and the natural hairs on the brows actually help blend with the hair strokes created from microblading. This will help the eyebrows look even more natural.

Do I still need to get waxed/threading after Microblading?
Yes, Microblading is simply just creating natural looking hair strokes on the skin. Your hair will grow normally after the procedure.

Is there a retouch procedure after the initial visit?
Yes, there is always an option to get a free touch up appointment and is highly recommended. This usually takes place 5-6 weeks after the initial visit. A retouch appointment is $50. Retouch within 6 months after initial retouch (20% OFF) $320 **After 6 months the price will go back to original pricing** Here is where you let the technician know if the brows have faded too much or if there is a part of the microblading that did not grab onto the skin. If you feel like you do not need a touch up within 7 weeks then there is no need to reschedule a retouch appointment.

Why is there a part of my brows where the ink did not take?
Everyones skin is different. It is possible that there are parts of the skin that do not take the ink well therefore causing it to not stick and fade away. If this does happen, please let the technician know at the touch up appointment.

How much will my eyebrows fade after the procedure?
After the healing process of microblading/soft touch, the brows should fade about 30-50% depending on the client's skin
